ABSTRACT

A structure for analog adaptive filtering in VLSI, designed in current-mode, is presented. The filtering is performed by a discrete time structure, and the adaptation is performed using a fuzzy structure in continuos time. This circuit can be designed in a standard 0.8μm CMOS process. The simulation results show that the fuzzy filter implemented in order to approximate the output of the unknown system, has a well performance in terms of the error and convergence rate.
