ABSTRACT The natural convection in a square cavity filled with cold water (near 4°C) is studied numerically for different Grashof numbers in cases of a lid-driven or inclined cavity. Both situations demonstrate the hysteresis phenomena, which can be seen on presented dependencies of Nusselt number on lid velocity and an inclination angle. download article
