Chekalin ABSTRACT The goal of this work is to study the dynamics of the two-phase ternary flow modeling in a laminated reservoir depending on its structure and an arrangement of horizontal holes in its depth by simulation. The mathematical modeling of the water-oil replacement in a vertical section of a laminated reservoir was carried out within the large-scale approximation framework. It was shown that: the overflows between layers have a pronounced effect on the two-phase filtration process; the water-oil replacement in the low-permeable layers was caused by flows from the layers with higher permeability; the thin layer with high permeability had greater negative effect on the oiloutput than a low-permeable layer; the laminated heterogeneity of a reservoir may cause a polymer margin break; with the availability of a bottom water an injection horizontal hole must be placed in a water-contained reservoir, and in other cases its rational accommodation in the depth of a reservoir depends on a choice of optimization criterion. |
